The Sting

Unfortunately Luke experienced something I have never experienced. A WASP STING and it was not very pleasant. I must say he handled it very well although he told me through tears
" This is the first time I have ever been stung by a wasp" and I said while wrapping my arms around him " I know baby" So, a few minutes later he says "This is the first time I have ever been stung by a wasp" of course already knowing this I continued comforting him and saying " I know baby and you are doing a great job." It was pitiful at the time and humorous looking back on it now. These are some pics from the event and a picture of the culprit......

Handsome Schoolboy

This is on the 3rd day when he walked in himself. Now that was different, he may have been in daycare since he was 2 but I have always walked him in. I was so proud yet sad at the same time. He did so good, we just drive up, the teacher helps him out and off he goes. Now that is big school :):) You are such a big boy Luke... I love you!!

Luke's 1st day of Kindergarten

They are trying to figure out which door they are suppose to go in.

He was so big, as you can see he is leading the way.

He went straight and hung his book bag and lunch box on a hook.

Luke getting his stuff out of his book bag, such a big boy. He was suppose to bring some pictures and a souvenir from a trip he took this summer.
He is holding his scrapbook and his Popeye figurine that he got when he visited Gran for a week this summer. Thanks Gran for making my scrapbook and buying Popeye, I am glad I had something to share with my class on the first day!!
Mrs. Howell showing Luke where to put his stuff, he has a little cubby under the table where he sits.
Mrs. Howell is pinning on his name tag.

Our Little Ram

Luke was so excited about starting school. This is him the night of Open House, they were selling the sweatshirt he has on and he had to have one. As soon as he got it he put it on... He is a proud Immanuel RAM:)
This was in his classrooom right after he met his teacher, Mrs. Howell. He couldn't wait to meet her, she is great!! That is exactly what Luke says about her now.
I was filling out paperwork, i can't believe my baby is starting Kindergarten. It just seems like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital, ok.. maybe not yesterday but seriously it doesn't seem as if 5 1/2 years has pased by.

Cowboys

Look at these handsome cowboys....

The boys love to use their imaginations and dress-up. This is something that takes place at our house daily, sometimes they go through 3 or 4 outfits a day. Its so funny because when I think about dressing up I always think about girls, I never dreamed that boys would like to dress up, mainly because I didn't grow up with brothers. I am just amazed by their imaginations, I absolutely love it and I love watching them change from outfit to outfit and act out their characters, no matter how much we wash and have to pick up clothes I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I love you boys, you absolutely amaze me!!
